What we learned
Zero fires in live trading. It overlaps conceptually with SPIKE-COUNTER, which fired once, so between them the idea has effectively no data behind it.
Spikes on gold are also disproportionately news-driven, and our news filter pauses entries around scheduled high-impact events. A strategy designed to trade spike aftermath is largely blocked by a guard that exists for good reasons.
